Remember to look for the GLIMMERS

A book to remind you that there is always joy and love if you choose to look for it.

Gripped by anticipatory grief in October 2024, I put in my headphones, turned up my dark, angry, loud music, and folded black star after black star after black star until I – slowly – started to remind myself of all the little things that make me smile – like music, art, hugs and wild swimming – and life instantly felt a little brighter again.

This book is based on the Tiny Star Story bottle I made back then, and I hope that it will help you see your own little glimmers when life feels tough. This book also makes a beautiful and thoughtful present for a friend in crisis, when you don’t know what to say. At the end of the book, there is space where you can make a note of your own little glimmers – maybe a cuddle with your pet or leaves dancing outside your window.

Its beautiful simplicity makes this book easy to read and take in, and I am hoping it will add a splash of colour to your life and bring a smile to your face.

Being in that dark place of grief is hard. This book can help.
